Sarah Johnson, M.A.

Canine Rehabilitation Sarah received her master's degree in exercise physiology in 1985, and was one of the first physical therapists to use Pilates to help people recover from injuries and overcome chronic pain. In 2004, Sarah attended the University of Tennessee Veterinarian College, taking courses in canine rehabilitation, and received her certification as a canine body worker. After joining The Sams Clinic in 2005, Sarah began developing our canine rehabilitation program. Over the years, she's taken veterinary technician classes and mastered various hands-on approaches that help release joints and heal soft tissues and muscles. Working with Sarah, many our patients can gain full function and range of motion. Sarah has competed with her own dogs in obedience, sheepherding and agility. Ask any of her canine patients: Sarah has a magic touch.
